From a Leaf in the Community

It's hard to believe that someone might actually read this, but I’ve always felt a calling to share my experiences. I’m passionate about the power of the Castroville community and the transformation it’s undergoing. I moved here when I was five, graduated from Medina Valley like many others, and have lived here ever since.

I know there are plenty of us who feel the same, yet some people seem ashamed of our roots. I've heard others say that Castroville is just a small town filled with the same old faces stuck in outdated mindsets. But here’s the truth: Castroville has been evolving for years. For example, with a projected population doubling in the next 5-7 years and an annual growth rate of 1.87%, our community is changing.

This growth makes me wonder about the future of our town and how it might feel to be part of a larger community. It’s time for me to start sharing my thoughts, tips, and stories with anyone who might care. Who knows? I might even spark something beautiful by being a leaf in this community.
